This is one of my favorite
books, and I recommend it to almost all of my clients who own a small
business or run a professional practice. Most entrepreneurs
start with a dream. But soon, the business either grows and
threatens to take over their lives, or it fails to grow, and that
takes over their lives in a very different, and more painful
way. The reality of running a business, doing paperwork,
making sales, ordering supplies, hiring and supervising staff becomes
exhausting. Sales go down, stress goes up. Profits suffer
and the owner must find a new way. Gerber writes with insight,
wisdom and compassion. He understands the process and has
compelling solutions. The book is easy reading, but the lessons
will transform your business, and your way of doing business, for
year to come. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
This is the BEST book on taking
control of your life, living with integrity based on priciples, and
ATTAINING your goals I have read this year! It is amazing and I
can't stop praising this book! I had never heard of it or of Mr
Newberry until a couple weeks ago, when I saw it on the list of books
visitors to my website had purchased from Amazon. I got curious,
read the reviews, ordered it, and devoured it! (I even canceled a
golf game to finish it on Saturday -- this is GOOD!) One reviewer
wrote: "This... is the most content-rich and principle-centered
book I've ever read. Newberry paints a clear and distinct picture of
the prerequisites for living a significant and impactful life. This book
... leaves no doubt why Newberry is called America's Success
Coach." The book gets a solid 5-stars from Amazon, and from me
(which is even harder)! I highly recommend this book - it's VERY
good!
This astonishing little book, written from a very
personal perspective based on the author's childhood experiences, is near the top of
Amazon.com's most popular list! And, it has quietly worked its way up the
best-seller charts for a very simple reason: it is true! To make money, you
have to work smart (not just hard), you have to invest wisely, you have to understand that
money is attracted to money, and that successful people think about money in specific
ways. They understand that by itself, money has no meaning. When we use money
to achieve our values, to express our priorities and create meaning in our lives, money
becomes a useful, faithful servant, rather than a fickle master. Only 184 pages, but
a book to change your life and make you a fortune!
If you read only one book this
year, please make it this one! This is the sequel to the authors'
best-selling book, Rich
Dad, Poor Dad, and it is even
better! This is more thorough, more practical, more motivating, more
do-able! It's brand new, and already near the top of Amazon's
best-sellers, with a remarkable 5-star rating from 39 reviewers! (No
book gets 5-stars from that many critics, especially when it's about
financial independence!) Mary gave it to me for Christmas, and we
made immediate changes as a result. This book makes sense! It
will teach you to think about and manage your money in new ways. It
will help you set and achieve realistic goals, and if you desire, it can
teach you the skills for achieving financial independence. I feared it
would be about greed and the quest for ever more money, but it's really
about balance, freedom, and living a life that allows you to make choices
from integrity, rather than fear. Please buy this book! If you
read and re-read it, it can change you life!
This is one of the most profound little books I've ever
come across! I absolutely LOVED it and am giving over 20 copies to my friends and
family for Christmas. I strongly urge you to buy, read, and study this book!
And, other people agree. It has a 5-star rating at Amazon, which is very rare, and
here are the healdines from some reviews: "If you only ever read one
self-help book, make it this one!" And another: "One of the greatest
little stories ever told." And again, "My life has changed
completely. Believe me, it really works!" And one more:

can probably read this story in an afternoon, but I will be pondering and imlementing it

This powerful book has become famous as the
"beginners guide to business success". Written as a series of discussions
between a wise, successful business person and a young, "wet behind the ears"
newcomer, the book contains a wealth of practical, inspirational and powerful tools for
building your business. Using the principles of attracting success rather than
"making sales", Allen writes about achieving success by doing what you love,
doing it with integrity, investing wisely, marketing smart, and keeping good records.
This is not a "new age" guide to creative imagery. It's a very
practical, savvy guide that belongs in every professional's library.
My wife turned me on to this book, and it has
changed our budget, our attitude towards money, and our plans for the future! Wow!
That's a lot for one little book! This has been a huge best-seller for a
reason -- it works! From thinking about your estate and taking care of your loved
ones, to investing wisely, and using your checkbook and family budget as practical tools
to get what you want in life, this book is a gem! Very easy reading. Ms Orman
is not a wallstreet investment teckie or a fancy banker! She writes in a
down-to-earth, practical sense about money and how you can use money (and your attitudes
and relationships with money) to have the life you want. Very powerful, and highly
recommended!
This is the most expensive book I
recommend, and perhaps the best bargain! This "Step-by-Step Guide for Small
Businesses and Professionals" covers every aspect of finding your niche, reaching
your customers, filling your practice and making money -- in practical, easy-to-follow
language. I bought it 6 years ago at a seminar, and it has been worth far more than
the seminar was! A reviewer put it this way: "Of all the books I've read
on "Marketing Your Services" this has to be the best.... He looks at
marketing your services not as a chore you need to get through but as a fun and
challenging activity to improve the success of your business. Everything is covered here,
from finding your niche to taking care of clients. The style is fun and informal and
includes many stories and real life examples. This is a "must have" book if you
want to attract new clients."
Most Americans are familiar with Jack Canfield and Mark
Victor Hansen for their series of "Chicken Soup for the Soul" books. There
are many books in that series now, and they are very good. But long before these
guys became rich and famous for their "Soup" books, they wrote two other works
that, for me, have been much more powerful. The first is: "The Aladdin
Factor". This is one of the 2 or 3 most influential books I've ever read, and I've
never understood why it hasn't become more famous. Most people have never heard of
it, but I urge you to get your hands on it, read it, take notes, and implement the
strategies! It will change your life!
This wonderful, POWERFUL little book was recommended to me
by my friend, Nina Cherry. The wisdom -- and techniques -- in this book have been
worth many thousands of dollars to me! Very practical, it takes the mystery out of
marketing a professional practice, attracting clients, and making money...without having
to "sell" or "advertise" anything! Long before Thomas Leonard
developed his "attraction principles", this book listed the specific daily
actions for letting the world discover you and beat a path to your door. It helped
me relax and stop "trying" to sell. Instead, the practical steps in this book
taught me to effectively, effortlessly, let people know who I am, what I do, and how
it could benefit them. And that has made all the difference! To build your
professional practice, work less, and make more money -- buy (and USE!) this book!
This brilliant, insightful book is all about practical,
easy (even fun!) ways to market for folks who are professionals, perhaps reserved or shy,
and have no intention of ever selling anything to anyone -- but who still have to make a
living! From developing powerful business letters, to chatting easily with local
media and developing powerful networking techniques, this is a "must have" book
for any professional or small business. And, if marketing and "schmoozing"
doesn't come easy for you -- then it's an absolute MUST HAVE!!! Get your hands on
this book, read it, use it as a workbook or guide, and simply start doing the things that
feel most practical, easiest or appropriate. Like Marketing Without Advertising, (above) this book has made me
hundreds of thousands of dollars. It's one of the most valuable books I've ever
read!
