1. The One-Minute TIP

Make the most of your unique strengths and abilities. Even
body-building can lead to the Governor's Mansion! If you
need new skills, learn them! Never permit a lack of
English, a lack of friends, family or resources hold you
back! Learn what you need to know, then set specific goals
and work like crazy. If Arnold can become the Governor of
California, who knows what you and I could accomplish! In
2004, aim higher, go further.

2. Welcome Notes

What a wonderful time of year! The first thing is to wish
each of you a Happy Thanksgiving! Many of our subscribers
around the world don't celebrate this particular Thursday,
but it is always appropriate to appreciate the wealth we
enjoy every day. We live in an amazing time and too often
we take our freedom, our education and our wealth for
granted. This week, may you have a blessed and joyous
Thanksgiving!

There is also a ton of news to share! I'll be sending a
special announcement in the next couple of weeks, but
briefly here are three important highlights:

1. Starting in January, I will lead a 3-month coaching
program for anyone who is determined to set new standards
and achieve new heights in 2004. The focus is on you and
the ACTION STEPS to achieve your goals. The title is CGI-
TEAM, which stands for "Coaching Group Intensive - Together
Everyone Achieves Miracles." Space is limited to only 10
people, so it will fill quickly! To reserve your space,
take action right NOW, while you're thinking about it. Visit:
http://philiphumbert.com/Group.htm

2. I will also be developing a program called "Alive,
Awake and Aware: How Ordinary People Create and Live
Extraordinary Lives!" In 10 weeks we will create the tools
and materials to help thousands of people live extraordinary
lives of "Peace, Passion, Power, Purpose and Prosperity."
And every participant will have a license to use the material
with their own clients, forever! Watch for more info on this
exciting Alive, Awake and Aware(tm) program at:
http://philiphumbert.com/AAA.htm

3. Finally, this week we edited over a hundred (!)
articles and Top 10 lists on my website, and I was reminded
of how good they are! There is a wealth of material for
personal and business achievement, and you are welcome to
use any of them in your own newsletter or website! It's
great reading, and it's instant content for your website or
newsletter! Enjoy!

3:  The Ah-Nold in Each of Us

This week, Arnold Schwarzenegger became the Governor of
California and his story is worth studying because there is
a little bit of "Arnold" in each of us. There is much we
can learn from his extraordinary achievement.

The first thing is that he is far from perfect. I didn't
write this article during the campaign because of the
reports about his behavior toward women. I don't know the
truth of those allegations, but several women described
behavior that is disgraceful and worthy only of "Conan the
Barbarian." Let's be clear about that.

At the same time, Arnold has done many things right, and
the principles that made him the rich, powerful Governor of
California are tools we can all use to achieve our goals
and enrich our lives. Here are some of the lessons from
Governor Schwarzenegger:

1. Know and capitalize on your greatest strength,
no matter what it is.

Arnold was blessed with an extraordinary physique and he
has made the most of it. Body-building is not the most
likely basis for a career in movies, business or politics,
but Arnold used what he had. We all have unique gifts and
strengths, but few people develop them the way Arnold has.

Start with what you have and make the most of it!

2. Add as many additional skills and competencies as possible.

Few people describe Arnold as a great actor, but he is
"good enough". As a young man, he moved to a new country,
learned a new language, studied the movie industry, and
developed the skills to build the life he wanted.

Achievement rarely asks us to do anything dramatic or
miraculous, but it always requires that we do ordinary
things, in the right way, at the right time. Learn the
skills. Develop the tools. Get "good enough" to achieve
your dreams.

3. Have clear, definite, specific goals.

Arnold often talks about knowing exactly what he wants.
His tastes may not be mine (or yours), but whether it's
winning a body-building title, driving a Hummer, smoking
expensive cigars, making movies - or becoming Governor - he
knows what he wants.

What are your most important goals? What MUST you achieve
in 2004? Know and pursue goals that excite and challenge
you, goals that make a difference, and require your BEST
efforts.

4. Persistence and hard work always pay off.

Arnold is a great example of an "over-night success" 30
years in the making! Think of him as young, broke and
unknown, pumping iron and trusting that one day it would
all pay off. Imagine him as a kid, far from home, trying
to learn English, make movies, and develop a career.

Arnold knows about persistence, and determination, and hard
work.

I don't know how " bright" he is - I've never met him. I
know he dresses well, has a good smile, and he handles
himself well. But, we also know he has flaws and certainly
his accent, his background and other limitations might have
held him back. Instead, last Monday, he became the Governor!

4. Quotes of the Week

"Destiny is not a matter of chance, it is a matter of
choice. It is not a thing to be waited for, it is a thing
to be achieved."
                                        -- Jeremy Kitson

"Entrepreneurship is a state of mind, a can-do attitude, a
capacity to focus on a vision and work toward it."
                                        -- Barry Rogstad

"The difference between a successful person and others is
not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather
a lack of will."
                                        -- Vincent T. Lombardi

"One can never consent to creep when one feels the impulse to soar."
                                        -- Helen Keller

5. Strictly Business:  Where Are You Going in 2004?

Among the obvious differences between high achievers and
average performers are their ability to define their goals,
and their ability to work with a team to make stuff happen.

High achievers are much more precise in their goals that
everyone else.

Ask the top performers in any business how much they will
sell in 2004, and they'll give you a NUMBER. Ask the new
hires, the also-rans and the folks in the middle of the
pack, and they'll give you a generality: "More than last
year!" or perhaps the old stand-by: "It depends on how
much the economy picks up."

Winners can tell you how much they'll weigh, where they
will go on vacation, how many days they will work, and how
much they'll sell. They can tell you, in advance, the size
of their organization, who their best customers are, and
the techniques they will us to contact, persuade and sell
to those customers.

The guys in the middle of the pack are still waiting for
the Sales Manager to get the new brochures printed.

Secondly, winners understand the power of teams. Peak
performers know that the "new kid" who answers the phone,
the guy in the mailroom, the woman in the shipping
department and the manager in Customer Care are ALL part of
their personal sales team. They build relationships and
partnerships with these people. They understand the power
of a promise kept, and the cost of a shipment delayed.

And here's a third key ingredient that provides the
power, the drive and "zest" for the first two keys:
Top performers use a personal MasterMind(tm) or support
team. They know the necessity of hanging with winners.
They understand the momentum, enthusiasm and brilliance
of talking with and learning from top achievers.

That's why I am sponsoring a limited Coaching Group
Intensive - TEAM(tm) in early 2004. The group starts on
Monday, January 5th and is limited to only TEN PEOPLE! It
will fill quickly. If you'd like to join us, get info and
register at: http://philiphumbert.com/Group.htm

6. Resources and Tools for YOUR Success!

There are lots of tools and recommendations this week, and
I hope you'll take a look at them:

#1: Coaching Group Intensive: TEAM

http://philiphumbert.com/Group.htm

Top achievers ALWAYS have a support team to help them see
through the clutter, clarify their goals and take ACTION!
Presidents have advisors, athletes have coaches and the most
productive people in every field know the value of a
MasterMind(tm) group. There is no point in "doing it myself"
or "re-inventing the wheel" when help, support, solutions
and brilliance are readily available! We all know that
"two heads are better than one" and that a TEAM of smart,
innovative people will beat a solitary straggler, every time!
For more info and to join us - the CGI-TEAM(tm) is limited
to only 10 people and will fill very quickly - visit the web at:
http://philiphumbert.com/Group.htm

#2: Alive, Awake and Aware: How Ordinary People
Create and Live Extraordinary Lives

http://philiphumbert.com/AAA.htm

This is a unique invitation for a few folks who "get it".
This is not a coaching group (that's above). This is a 10-week
process to develop an extraordinary collection of resources
that will help thousands of people transform their lives. I've
used this material for about 3 years but it needs to be
tweaked, refined, and expanded and if you help, you not only
get the material, you also get a voice in perfecting it, AND a
partnership LICENSE to use it, forever! This is gonna be fun!
For 10 weeks we will use and tweak the material, share ideas,
expand and enrich the process, and afterward the members will
be able to use the final version with their clients, forever!
If you are a coach, consultant, trainer, teacher, a minister
or leader, this is for YOU! The group begins January 6th.
Check it out at:   http://philiphumbert.com/AAA.htm

#3: Last Chance to Pre-enroll in MasteryTV
http://www.masterytv.biz/coach1950

Mastery TV combines the two biggest mediums of our
generation --- television and the Internet --- to provide
personal development, inspiration and training to people
all over the globe, at a fraction of what it costs to see
big-name speakers, writers and trainers live. Mastery TV also
has an affiliate program opportunity to create a stream of
monthly income (whether you have a website or not).

Details are being worked out, but for now just go to:
      http://www.masterytv.biz/coach1950

Fill in your information and take the tour...this will
create an affiliate link for you.

There is absolutely no cost now and later the monthly
subscription membership will be only $9.95 a month for a
world of personal and business development resources! When
the service goes live you will have 24/7 programming and an
affiliate program that rewards you every month for everyone
you referred into the program. The growth potential for US
and worldwide participation (remember this is the Internet)
is extremely exciting.

If you don't like what you see when the service goes live,
you are under no obligation to subscribe. This is a perfect
"look before you leap" scenario! I believe in this thing,
and the people behind it have impressed me with their
integrity and know-how. I hope you'll support this effort
to bring wisdom, inspiration, education and personal
empowerment to our world!

#4: More No-Cost Resources!
http://philiphumbert.com/Top10Index.htm

As I said in the Welcome Notes, we spent hours editing and
up-dating dozens of articles and lists that are freely
available for you to use, including re-printing them in
newsletters or on your website! I had forgotten how many
of these we have, and how GOOD they are! Enjoy and use them
- share them with folks!
http://philiphumbert.com/Top10Index.htm

============================================
7. Humor:    Bumper Slickers!

I love the little quips and puns that folks put on bumper
stickers! They always make me smile and I've taken to
calling them, "bumper sLickers" - hope you enjoy the pun!
A subscriber who simply goes by "Helen" sent me these
(along with some naughtier ones I chose to edit out!) and I
hope they give you a smile!

1. Impotence...Nature's way of saying "No hard feelings."

2. Everyone has a photographic memory...some just don't have any film.

3. Your ridiculous little opinion has been noted.

4. I used to have a handle on life...but it broke off.

5. WANTED: Meaningful overnight relationship.

6. Heart Attacks...God's revenge for eating His animal friends.

7. Don't like my driving? Then quit watching!

8. If you can read this...I can slam on my brakes and sue you.

9. Some people are only alive because it is illegal to shoot them.

10. Try not to let your mind wander...It is too small and fragile to be out by itself.
