1. The One-Minute TIP

Take time for FUN, to Plan, to Learn and to Think, each and
every day. You do not want to arrive at the end of life
with a sense that "I blew it!" You do not want to end of
your days with only memories of work and running errands!
Hopefully, we have many years ahead of us, but we also know
that life is short and it ends too soon. Should your time
arrive unexpectedly, be sure you loved ones know that you
truly LIVED every day of your life!

2. Welcome Notes

It's good to be home after two weeks in Wisconsin! The WCL
Conference was spectacular and the time to study, write and
ponder is always valuable, but it is also good to be back
to Mary, Cody and Socks.

And, I have some HUGE and very important announcements!

First -- I have returned to public speaking!

Effective immediately, I am again available for public
speaking and will be ACTIVELY seeking opportunities to
speak to your Conference or meeting. For the past two years
I've declined most speaking invitations, but as of today,
I'm on the road again! I always enjoy talking about life
balance, productivity and personal achievement. If you
would like me to speak to your group, please contact me!
Mailto:Coach@philiphumbert.com

Second -- The World-Class Life(tm) Conference was our best
ever and I've confirmed the dates for next year. Plan NOW
so you aren't left out! We'll be in Wisconsin on May 12-
14th, 2005 and I'll be putting up registration materials in
the next couple of weeks. Mark your calendar!

Third -- At Green Lake, I set a goal to DOUBLE our
subscriber list by the end of the year.
I don't know if
it's possible, but we're going to try! I have always had
a vision of "helping 100,000 people easily and joyfully
achieve their goals each year," and it's time to FOCUS on it!

Please help us grow! Please forward TIPS to friends and
family. Please tell them about us! Please pass it around
the office or mention it at church or school. One pastor
recommended TIPS in his church newsletter! Anyone can
subscribe by visiting us at:
<a href=" http://philiphumbert.com ">http://philiphumbert.com</a>

Finally -- Today, June 6th, marks the 60th anniversary of
D-Day
and the beginning of the liberation of Europe.
Please join me in pausing to reflect and honor those men.
And, if you know a WW II veteran or the widow of one, please
take a moment to say "Thank You!"

3:  It's Good To Be Rich!

There's an old story that when he was the wealthiest man
in the world, J. Paul Getty's brother sent him a letter
that began, "To the Wealthiest man in the world, from the
Richest man in the world." His brother was making the
distinction between cash and true riches.

This past couple of weeks, I've been with to some of the
most wonderful, motivated, grounded and value-centered
people in the world. I've played golf, gone for long walks,
enjoyed the sounds of the silence and the sound of fish
jumping in the lake. I've walked and talked with Mary, and
read great books. I've slept in, and been up before dawn.
I've danced, eaten fresh-caught fish, and renewed old
friendships. How rich is that!?

And now for the nugget: Your life can be as RICH as you
want it to be, whenever you decide to "make it so."

No need to wait! The RICHNESS of your life is not dependent
on cash, or assets, or anything else. You don't have to
have more money or own a business or get a raise, or move
to a new city. The richness of your life is strictly up to
you and depends on only a few simple, daily disciplines.

Here are a few suggestions:

1. The Daily Discipline of having FUN!
Every day, hug someone you love, play catch, dance, take
a nap or go for a run. Do something you love and do it every
day. Of course, you'll want to schedule work and errands,
but be SURE that first of all, you schedule time to actually
LIVE your life. Have fun!

2. The Daily Discipline of Planning.
John Lennon said that "life is what happens while you are
making other plans." Every day, just before bed or first
thing in the morning, CHOOSE your priorities. Review your
goals and values, and choose your activities accordingly.
Of course, you'll want to include the daily tasks of life,
but make sure your VALUES show up as well!

3. The Daily Discipline of Learning.
Our world is changing and those who do not learn, are
destined to fall every further behind. Every day, read for
30 to 60 minutes. Every day listen to audio programs in your
car or while you exercise. Watch educational TV programs.
Attend concerts, classes and workshops. If you aren't
learning something new, you are falling behind.

4. The Daily Discipline of Thinking.
Henry Thoreau wrote that he went to the woods to "live
deliberately," and that's a GOOD thing! These past two weeks,
I've had the chance to choose my activities each day and
to spend part of each day just "sitting." I sit for ideas
and inspiration. I sit to watch a sunrise. I sit to absorb
the gifts life gives freely. Take time each day to envision
your goals, to affirm your values and set your direction.

Personally, I believe the time we spend on these Daily
Disciplines is not "subtracted" from our total, but is
actually "ADDED" to our lives - it's added to the quality,
the richness and quite possibly, the length of our lives.

4. Quotes of the Week

"How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment
to improve the world."
                                       -- Anne Frank

"Live out of your imagination, not your history."
                                       -- Stephen Covey

"Dream as if you'll live forever. Live as if you'll die today."
                                       -- James Dean

"The greatest thing in this world is not so much where we
are, but in what direction we are moving."
                                       -- Oliver Wendell Holmes

5. Strictly Business:   Is Your Business Succeeding?

As I work with professionals and business owners, I see far
(FAR!) too many of them working hard to earn a living, but
utterly failing to build an effective business.

Too many of them work hard all day and struggle with
marketing and maintenance and production until they are
exhausted at night. Or, even worse, they don't have enough
work or customers to keep them busy, so they fret and
worry, but they aren't building an effective BUSINESS,
so day after day, nothing changes.

The goal of any business is to SERVE CUSTOMERS and the
goal of an effective business is to do it in a way that
makes a profit and makes sense for the owner, the employees,
and the investors. The "end" of any business has to make sense
as well as "dollars and cents!"

Is your business "working" for you, or are you struggling?

Do you have the customers you need, not just "enough"
customers, but the RIGHT customers so your business really
"works" for everyone involved?

Do you have a plan (a real blueprint, with details and
dates) for growing the business? Do you have an exit
strategy for when you want to retire or are ready to move
on? Do you make time (no one "has" time) to plan and design
the future? Are your plans being implemented on a regular
basis?

If the answer to any of these questions is no, then make
changes! Adjust your schedule, get training, hire an
assistant, or get a coach! As Michael Gerber says in his
wonderful book, "The E-Myth," you want to work on your
business, not just in or for your business. Design and
build an effective, efficient (and profitable!) business
that works FOR you!

6. Resources and Tools for YOUR Success!

#1    The Jim Rohn 2-Day Seminar!
This is Jim's first 2-day live event in three years!
         http://philiphumbert.com/go/jr.htm

After three years of anticipation - It's here! The Jim Rohn
Weekend Leadership Event (with special guests Denis
Waitley, Brian Tracy, Donna Krech and More)!

I had tickets to fly to Dallas for his last weekend
conference back in 2001, and at the last minute couldn't
go. I will DEFINITELY be in Anaheim for this one!

Jim Rohn is a gentleman, a scholar, a humorist and, in my
opinion, a genius. He's been one of my mentors for 20
years, and he's doing a rare weekend workshop in California
this summer. This is a rare opportunity to spend two days
focused on your dreams, your goals and your strategies for
creating the life you really, really want! They have
pricing from less than $400, up to a Platinum package with
all sorts of bonuses (including meeting with Jim!). The
dates are July 30-31. If you are serious about your goals,
I strongly urge you to attend! You can get more info and
register at Jim's website. Also, be sure to sign up for his
newsletter and look over his collection of books and tapes!
http://philiphumbert.com/go/jr.htm

"Thank the Lord it is finally here. I attended in Dallas in
2001 and have eagerly awaited the return of the 2-day
event. I would fly anywhere in the world to be a part of
this event. I will register next week; the only question is
how many friends, family members, or staff I intend on
bringing. Thank You." -- Darren Patrick (I hope you'll
join Darren and me to hear Jim Rohn this Jully!)

#2    Think Right Now!
The Best Tools for CHANGE I've Found!
         http://philiphumbert.com/go/TRN.htm

Many of you have purchased these audio programs to increase
sales, lose weight, set and achieve goals or improve diet,
health and fitness and you know how good they are! My
clients turned me on to these CD's several months ago and
I'm incredibly impressed. I strongly urge you to jump on
this! Top achievers in every field listen to audio
programs. They imagine themselves winning, setting new
records and living the life they truly WANT, and they do it
by visualizing their victories in advance with the help of
Mike's programs. These are fantastic, both for yourself and
as gifts. Grab these!

#3     The One Minute Millionaire
An "Almost FREE!" book, CD & Teleclass
         http://philiphumbert.com/go/TRN.htm

This is one of the most impressive books and concepts I've
ever seen. The more I see the impact it's had on my
clients, the more enthused I become! Please, do yourself a
favor and buy the CD (for $11.95) and get the book and
the classes free! They don't even charge for shipping! This
truly is a magnificent deal and the two-books-in-one
concept is sheer genius. Do yourself a favor, buy this, and
buy one for a friend. Every teenager should be REQUIRED to
read it in high school - It's that good!
http://philiphumbert.com/go/1mm.htm

#4    Got a Website?
        Earn Passive Income!

Over the years, I've paid lots of money for shopping carts,
autoresponders and systems that were supposed to help me
serve my subscribers and make money from my website. None
of them worked, or more accurately they worked, but they
were complex, confusing and didn't work very well. Then I
discovered Don Schnure and the amazing programs he's put
together. They work! They are powerful, EASY to use, and
they let me automate my newsletter, my affiliate programs
and my shopping cart, with no hassle! I love this! And, you
can use it absolutely FREE for 30 days, to check it out.
Highly recommended!

7. Humor:    Dog-gone GREAT Life Lessons

My friend and colleague, Margaret Martin, sent me this list
a while back and I thought it was both good, and good for a
chuckle. There's a ton of wisdom in these observations, so
I hope you enjoy them as much as I did! Margaret wrote:

These are especially good - - - Let's practice them,
what do you think?

If a dog were the teacher you would learn stuff like:

*** When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.

*** Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.

*** Let the experience of fresh air and wind in your face be pure ecstasy.

*** When it's in your best interest, practice obedience.

*** Let others know when they've invaded your territory.

*** Take naps.

*** Stretch upon rising.

*** Run, romp, and play daily.

*** Thrive on attention and let people touch you.

*** Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.

*** On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.

*** On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.

*** When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body.

*** No matter how often you're scolded, don't buy into the
guilt thing or pout...run right back and make friends.

*** Delight in the simple joy of a good walk.

*** Eat with gusto and enthusiasm. Stop when you have had enough.

*** Be loyal. Never pretend to be something you're not.

*** If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.

*** When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close
       and nuzzle them gently.

Be kind to yourself and to someone else, and have a
wonder-FULL week!
