1. The One-Minute TIP

I encourage you to join us in Wisconsin, from May 11th to
13th, for three days to design the life you truly want.
Let's celebrate the things that are right, and take action
on the things that need to change. Take time to strategize,
to honor yourself and to create the "World Class Life" you
deserve!

2. Welcome Notes

What a wonderful start to the New Year! This week I got a
cast on my right foot, the result of an injury that has
bothered me for months, and it's forced me to slow down,
catch up with old friends, and really notice life. Mary's
had to wait on me more than usual and while that's not a
good thing, it's been fun to watch some movies and have
time together.

Once we were playing a board game when a neighbor stopped
in and it was interesting to see the look on her face as
she wished her family had time "to just sit and play
games." Now, I wouldn't wish an injured ankle on anyone,
but I do wish you all the "time of your life!"

Also, this week we are launching our ELEVENTH ANNUAL "World
Class Life Conference" and I hope you'll join us. The dates
are May 11-13th. This is the best, most rewarding thing we
do all year and I am wildly excited about it. Check it out
(and register!) at: http://MyWorldClassLife.com

One of the benefits of sitting this week is that I wrote a
wonderful 9-page report on how to live a "world class"
life. I call it "The Four Steps to A World Class Life" and
I strongly encourage you to get a copy. I've made it
really easy! You can get it two different ways, whichever
is more convenient: (a) you can visit the website at:
http://MyWorldClassLife.com  and use the form in the upper-
right corner, or (b) you can send an email to: report@philiphumbert.com

3:  The Steps To A World Class Life

One of the challenges we all face is to decide what we
will do with our life. We get one chance to live a great
life and no one wants to "blow it." One of the worst things
I can imagine is sitting in a rocking chair in my old age,
looking back and saying, "I messed up. I didn't live my
life to the fullest, I never did the things that were most
important to me."

Don't let that happen to you!

It seems to me there are at least three or four vital
components to a "World Class Life." First, we have to know
and stand for our values. As my grandmother used to say,
"if you don't stand for something, you will fall for
anything." A great life requires that we know who we are,
what we believe, and what we stand for.

Second, it seems that we must do our best. Life asks that
we explore our potential, it asks that we learn and develop
and mature. I love the quote from Buckminister Fuller that,
"You can't learn less." Life is a learning process. We have
brains and talent and ability, and life expects us to use
them to the fullest degree we can.

Third, life expects a contribution. The short-hand for this
is that life expects us to work, to make a difference, to
do something with our time and our abilities. Part of this,
of course, is financial - life expects us to make a living
and most of us prefer to make lots of money. But life also
expects us to do work that matters, work that makes the
world a better place.

Finally, life asks us to leave a legacy. I like the phrase
that life asks us to "leave footprints in the sand."
Whether we leave money or a business, or great memories or
healthy children, it seems a shame to die and leave nothing
behind. Whether we create art, an endowment, or amazing
family traditions, a "great life" is well remembered.

The question is, "How?" How do we live a great life? How do
we create, enjoy and live a "World Class Life?"

I'm delighted to announce the 11th annual "World Class Life
Conference," May 11-13th. About 50 of us will spend three
days at a beautiful resort in Wisconsin exploring these
vital questions, find the answers and take ACTION.

Our world is so busy, we don't have time to ask the big
questions. We don't take time to review and organize our
lives. Are we living our values? Are we using our time and
energy to create the life we truly want? Too often we
neglect these things and at the end of life are forced to
ask, "Is that all there is?"

Don't let that happen to you!

Earlier generations had time for these things. Farmers had
all winter while the fields lay barren. Sunday's were lazy,
thoughtful days. Vacations were taken by car and there was
time to watch the scenery, time to think. Today, we hop on
a plane. Today, every day is busy. Today, television and
the internet are on "24-7-365" and there is no time.

To live a great life, you've got to take time to do it right!

I encourage you to join us in Wisconsin, from May 11th to
13th, for three days to design the life you truly want.
Let's celebrate the things that are right, and take action
on the things that need to change. Take time to strategize,
to honor yourself and to create the "World Class Life" you
deserve!

I intentionally keep the price low, and the benefits are
enormous! I urge every TIPS subscriber to take action.
Register while there's still space. As a subscriber, you
clearly want to live a GREAT life! Take action to make sure
you never end up saying, "I think I blew it."

4. Quotes of the Week

"Every man dies. Not every man truly lives."
                                         -- Braveheart

"Life's up and downs provide windows of opportunity to
determine... [your] values and goals...Think of using all
obstacles as stepping stones to build the life you want."
                                         -- Marsha Sinetar

"Dreams are renewable. No matter what our age or condition,
there are still untapped possibilities within us and new beauty
waiting to be born."
                                         -- Dale E. Turner

"I like thinking of possibilities. At any time, an entirely new
possibility is liable to come along and spin you off in an entirely
new direction. The trick, I've learned, is to be awake to the moment."
                                         -- Doug Hall

5. Strictly Business:   Sharpen Your Saw

Oregon has a long history of agriculture and forestry, so
the advice to "sharpen your saw" has real meaning. It
refers to keeping your skills and attitudes in top
condition, sharp and ready for work.

This week, I thought about how they apply across the board
in business. To expand your business or achieve any
significant goal, you need the best tools you can find.

Whether the challenge is harvesting lumber, making a sale,
or teaching high school, the person with the best tools
always does the best job. Here are some critical areas to
re-examine:

1. Your computer. Get and USE good maintenance tools. Run
a thorough check for viruses, de-fragment your hard disk,
and check it for errors at least once a week. Norton and
McAfee sell tools that make this easy and automated. Do it!

2. Voice communication. Get and use a great voice mail
system. If your clients, customers, friends and colleagues
can't talk to you, they won't do business with you. And
NEVER use "caller ID" that requires people to identify
themselves before they can call you. Never make if hard for
people to do business with you!

3. Superb email and Internet services. It's not enough to
"have" email. Make it work for you! Become an expert at
quickly sharing articles, notes, data and humor with your
clients and customers. Check email often; respond
instantly. If you're serious about business, get serious
about your email.

4. Specific tools for your niche and profession. Every
industry has it's own tools, language, skills and
standards. Become an expert in them! Be an "early adopter,"
invest in new technology and the latest solutions. It may
cost money; it will definitely pay in profits.

6. Resources and Tools for YOUR Success!

#1     The 11th Annual World Class Life Conference
May 11-13th, in Green Lake, WI
Open the Door to Your Future!
         Create the Life You Love!
         www.MyWorldClassLife.com

There are two groups of people who eagerly attend this
Conference every year: (1) people who know the
extraordinary value of perspective, personal power and
renewal, and (2) people who are ready to take the "next
step" in their lives, people who are determined that this
is the year they go "forward!"

I'm told Bill Gates takes a two-week retreat on Hood Canal
four times a year. He knows the value of time to think, to
relax, to let his imagination run wild and gain
perspective. Bill Clinton made the Renaissance retreat in
Hilton Head famous and it's attended by dozens of the
richest, most powerful people in America every year.
Imagine, putting yourself in a beautiful setting and
surrounding yourself with bright, dedicated, successful
people who are there to help you do better! YOU CAN DO
THIS!

I invite you to join us at one of the most beautiful
retreat centers in the world. We'll focus on YOU. We focus
on the keys to "the good life." We focus on the strategies
that work, and we network with people who can help us "get
there." This is my favorite event of the year, because it's
the BEST VALUE and the MOST POWERFUL. I hope you'll join
us! Take action, check it out, and register!

#3    Think Right Now!
The Best Tools for CHANGE I've Found!

Many of you have purchased these audio programs to increase

health and fitness and you know how good they are! My
clients turned me on to these CD's several months ago and
I'm incredibly impressed. I strongly urge you to jump on
this! Top achievers in every field listen to audio

records and living the life they truly WANT, and they do it
by visualizing their victories in advance with the help of

#4     Got a Website?
         Earn Passive Income!
         http://philiphumbert.com/go/1A.htm

Over the years, I've paid lots of money for shopping carts,
autoresponders and systems that were supposed to help me
serve my subscribers and make money from my website. None
of them worked, or more accurately they worked, but they
were complex, confusing and didn't work very well. Then I
discovered Don Schnure and the amazing programs he's put
together. They work! They are powerful, EASY to use, and
they let me automate my newsletter, my affiliate programs
and my shopping cart, with no hassle! I love this! And, you
can use it for 30 days to check it out. Highly recommended!

7. Humor:    Great Come-Backs

This short list of clumsy come-ons and great responses made
me laugh right out loud! I love people who have the wit
(and speed!) to think of stuff like this. I hope it gives
you a chuckle, and for some of the women out there, I'd
love to hear that somewhere, someday, these may give you
just the tool you needed, when you needed it! That would be
great!

Man:  Haven't I seen you someplace before?
Woman:  Yes, that's why I don't go there anymore.

Man:  Is this seat empty?
Woman:  Yes, and this one will be if you sit down.

Man:  Your place or mine?
Woman:  Both. You go to yours, and I'll go to mine.

Man:  So, what do you do for a living?
Woman:  I'm a female impersonator.

Man:  Hey baby, what's your sign?
Woman:  Do not enter.

Man:  How do you like your eggs in the morning?
Woman:  Unfertilized.

Man:  Your body is like a temple.
Woman:  Sorry, there are no services today.

Man:  I would go to the end of the world for you.
Woman:  But would you stay there?
