1. The One-Minute TIP

Examine your standards. You have them, even if you haven't
thought about them before. Are you happy with your
standards for dress, for health, for income? Your standards
in relationships? How about your minimum standard for
personal growth? Or your standard for success and
achievement? Raise your standards. Even a small change in
just one area can change your day, and lots of good days
will change your whole life!

2. Welcome Notes

This has been a thoughtful week in our household. My mother
was rushed to the hospital on Wednesday and after a couple
days of tests, the good news is the doctors think the
problem can be resolved with new medication. But it was a
frightening reminder that life is short, and not to be
taken lightly.

We all have things "yet to do." We all have loved ones to
talk with, mountains to climb, music to play. Whatever else
you "must" do today, take a few minutes to truly LIVE your
life. Sing or play, dance, laugh, hug, write or take a nap,
but whatever it is, live your life in your own way. Someday
soon, you'll look back and you don't want to be saying, "If
only."

And I have two opportunities for you. I've expanded the
number of coaching clients we can accept, so if you've
considered coaching, this is the perfect time to take
action. I love working with executives and entrepreneurs to
help you achieve your dreams! Small (and growing!)
businesses are my passion! Just drop me an email and we'll
arrange a time to talk about it, no cost or obligation.

Finally, I want to invite you to join us in Wisconsin for
our annual World Class Life Conference. Three more spots
were filled this week, and it looks like we'll sell out
again this year. Check it out! You deserve time to rest,
time for renewal, and you deserve support and strategies to
make your dreams come true! (At least grab the FREE report,

3:  Your Personal Standard of Care

Years ago when I was a practicing Psychologist, one of the
key ethical principles was that every patient received a
high "standard of care."
The medical, legal and many other professions, all require
that the client receive the highest "standard of care."

Since you are in charge of your life, what standards of
care do you set for yourself?

This is a vital question. In fact, I'm convinced that one
of the easiest and most reliable ways to take your life to
the "next level" of success, happiness and personal
fulfillment is to change your "standard of care."

We all have standards for every area of our lives. We have
a standard for how we take care of ourselves, what we'll
eat, how much we exercise and how we dress. We know when a
spot on a shirt violates our standards of appearance. We
know when the house is unusually messy or when our
standards are violated in a restaurant.

But how about your standards for success? What are your
minimum standards for personal development, for achievement
and pursuit of your most important goals? What are your
absolute standards in personal relationships, in
spirituality or for your savings account? If you raise your
standards, you transform your life.

I love Donald Trump because he makes an easy example. Have
you ever seen his hair messed up? How about a spot on his
tie? Have you ever seen him out of control, distracted or
confused? I'm sure all of these things happen to him
occasionally, but his standards in these areas are very
high and we all know it.

What do you think Bill Gates' standards are for his office?
How about Martha Stewarts' standards for marketing and
sales?

Here's a very small example that has become a symbol in our
house. We have a standard that the kitchen is spotless when
we go to bed every night. We don't always meet that
standard, especially after a party or whatever, but when I
get up to make coffee in the morning, that clean counter
and empty sink tell me I'm "good to go." The day begins
with a clean slate, and a fresh start. It's a small
standard, but gives an example of how a small change in
standards has made a huge difference in our energy and
focus as we start the day.

Examine your standards. You have them, even if you haven't
thought about them before. Are you happy with your
standards for dress, for health, for income? Your standards
in relationships? How about your minimum standard for
personal growth? Or your standard for success and
achievement? Raise your standards. Even a small change in
just one area - clean your kitchen at night - can change
your day, and lots of good days will change your whole
life!

A great life, a "World Class Life," is a matter of doing
a few simple but important things right, and doing
them day after day with enthusiasm! You deserve
a World Class Life, and you can have one! Find out
      how at: http://MyWorldClassLife.com

4. Quotes of the Week

"Hide not your talents. They for use were made. What's a
sundial in the shade."
                                                    -- Ben Franklin

"Picture in your mind a sense of personal destiny."
                                                    -- Wayne Oates

"It only takes one person to change your life - you."
                                                    -- Ruth Casey

"I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90%
how I react to it. And so it is with you. We are in charge
of our Attitudes."
                                                    -- Charles Swindoll

5. Strictly Business:   Sharpen Your Saw

In Oregon, with its history of agriculture and forestry,
the concept of "sharpening your saw" has real meaning. It
refers to keeping your tools, your skills, and your
attitude maintained, sharp and ready.

This week, I read an article about applying these
principles to your computer, and I thought about how they
apply across the board in business. To expand your business
or achieve any significant goal, you need the best tools
you can find.

Whether the challenge is harvesting lumber, making a sale,
or teaching high school, the person with the best tools
will always do the best job. Here are some critical areas
to re-examine:

1. Your computer. Get and USE good maintenance tools. Run
a thorough check for viruses, de-fragment your hard disk,
and check for errors at least once a week. Norton and
McAfee sell tools that make this easy and automated.

2. Voice communication. Get and use a great voice mail
system. If your clients, customers, friends and colleagues
can't talk to you, they won't do business with you. And
NEVER use caller ID that requires people to identify
themselves before they call you. Don't make if difficult
for people to contact you!

3. Get and use a PDA or similar system. Every professional
has a vital list of appointments, phone numbers, names and
data that you must have with you at all times. Don't leave
home without it.

4. Superb email and Internet services. It's not enough to
"have" email. Make it work for you! Become an expert at
quickly sharing articles, notes, data and humor with your
clients and customers. Check email often; respond
instantly. If you're serious about business, get serious
about your email.

5. Specific tools for your niche and profession. Every
industry has it's own tools, language, skills and
standards. Become an expert in them, become known as an
"early adopter," the person who invests heavily in new
technology and the latest solutions. It costs money; it
pays in profits.

#1    The 12th Annual World Class Life(tm) Conference
        May 17-19th in Beautiful Wisconsin!
        If not now, when?
        If not you, who?

The most successful people in the world know who they are
and where they are going. Living well can be defined as
living "a life of one's own." Too many of us spend our
lives working hard, racing from here to there and chasing
other people's goals! Don't let that happen to you! You
DESERVE time to focus on yourself! You deserve time to
clarify your major purpose and highest aspirations in life!
You deserve practical, powerful strategies to make your
dreams come true!

Of course you do! And the winners in life TAKE the time.
They INVEST in themselves, their skills and their goals.
They network with the best people they can find. They
attend the seminars. They plot strategy and make sure they
are "on course" and focused on their most important priorities.

A great life does not happen by accident or by working
"harder" and hoping for the best. Success in life - total,
balanced, fulfilling success - is the logical result of
doing the right things, in the right order, at the right
time. The WCL has been THE turning point for many, many
people over the years. It gives you the tools and the time,
the space and permission to focus on what you truly want
for this one and only life. It gives you strategies that
work, and the inspiration to work them. This May, make the
commitment to create and live the life you truly want!

I hope you'll join us. Get all the info and register at:

#2   Think Right Now!
The Best Tools for CHANGE I've Found!

Many of you have purchased these audio programs to increase
sales, lose weight, set and achieve goals or improve diet,
health and fitness and you know how good they are! My
clients turned me on to these CD's several months ago and
I'm incredibly impressed. I strongly urge you to jump on
this! Top achievers in every field listen to audio
programs. They imagine themselves winning, getting new
records and living the life they truly WANT, and they do it
by visualizing their victories in advance with the help of
Mike's programs. These are fantastic, both for yourself and
as gifts. Grab these!

#3   Got a Website?
       Earn Passive Income!
       http://philiphumbert.com/go/1A.htm

Over the years, I've paid lots of money for shopping carts,
autoresponders and systems that were supposed to help me
serve my subscribers and make money from my website. None
of them worked, or more accurately they worked, but they
were complex, confusing and didn't work very well. Then I
discovered Don Schnure and the amazing programs he's put
together. They work! They are powerful, EASY to use, and
they let me automate my newsletter, my affiliate programs
and my shopping cart, with no hassle! I love this! And, you
can use it for 30 days to check it out. Highly recommended!
